Dr Heidi Peverill is a specialist breast and melanoma surgeon with expertise in breast conservation, reconstruction and oncoplastic surgery. Over 15 years as a consultant, she has cared for hundreds of women with breast cancer, building a practice grounded in both clinical excellence and continuity of care.

Her practice encompasses implant-based reconstruction and advanced techniques including local flaps, breast reduction and mastopexy, allowing for precise cancer management while preserving breast form and symmetry wherever appropriate.

She is experienced in the management of patients at increased genetic and familial risk of breast cancer, providing risk assessment, genetic testing and longitudinal care.

In melanoma, she performs sentinel lymph node biopsy as part of contemporary staging and treatment pathways.

Dr Peverill graduated with honours from Monash University and completed advanced subspecialty training in breast surgery. She holds a Masters of Advanced Breast Surgery from the University of Sydney and is a full member of BreastSurgANZ.

She is actively involved in surgical education, supervising the BreastSurgANZ Fellow and SET registrars at Robina, and is committed to training the next generation of surgeons within a rigorous, subspecialty-focused environment.

She works within a multidisciplinary framework, collaborating closely with oncology, radiology and breast care nursing teams to deliver coordinated, evidence-based care.

Dr Peverill consults privately at Queensland Breast Care Centre, Southport, and holds a public appointment at the Robina Breast Unit within Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service.
